Postmodernism in music is basically when a artist takes a very small piece of music from one song and adapts it to fit into his own song and creates his own song or mix by using lots of these. For example their are many artist that do this these are just a few of them:

I have decided to choose chase and status radio1 minmix as the basis of my interpretation on Postmodernism in music this is their minimix in which they sample from all types of media.
In this minimix they sample from a lot of their own songs such as take me away shown below:
I think that Chase & Status are definately postmodern because they sample from old songs which were popular or may not of been and make them great. They have used old material and brought it back into circulation. This is why it is postmodern.
